Questions

Is boutique childcare better than corporate daycare in Gallatin TN

Absolutely. Boutique childcare offers a more personal, intentional experience compared to large corporate centers. At Gallatin Premier Childcare, families know our leadership team and our owner, children are not mass combined throughout the day, and we focus heavily on hands-on learning, STEAM education, healthy fresh meals, and highly qualified teachers who go above state minimum requirements. Our goal is quality over quantity, with stronger relationships, calmer classrooms, and more individualized attention for every child.

Questions

do you offer tours?

Absolutely. We encourage families to visit, ask questions, observe classrooms, and experience the Gallatin Premier Childcare difference firsthand.

We believe choosing childcare is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we want families to feel confident, informed, and comfortable throughout the process.

To schedule a tour, please contact us directly or visit our website.

Questions

Why do we not mass combine classrooms?

At Gallatin Premier Childcare, we believe children thrive best in calm, structured, and consistent environments. While many large centers combine multiple classrooms together during opening, closing, or staffing transitions, we intentionally minimize mass combining whenever possible.

Keeping children within their own classroom environments helps:

  • Maintain stronger supervision and safety
  • Reduce overstimulation and chaos
  • Support consistent routines and transitions
  • Allow children to remain with familiar teachers and peers
  • Create a calmer, more secure environment for learning and emotional development

We believe quality childcare should feel organized, intentional, and relationship-driven — not crowded or chaotic and we offer Sumner County premier childcare.

how do you prepare children for Kindergarten?

At Gallatin Premier Childcare, kindergarten readiness is about far more than memorization worksheets. We focus on developing the entire child through hands-on learning, structured routines, social-emotional development, communication skills, independence, and critical thinking.

Our preschool program incorporates:

  • Early literacy and phonics
  • Math and problem-solving
  • STEAM-based learning
  • Fine and gross motor development
  • Listening and classroom participation skills
  • Social interaction and emotional regulation
  • Independence and self-help skills

Most importantly, we help children build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning so they enter kindergarten feeling prepared, capable, and excited to succeed.

Questions

why do teacher qualifications matter?

The early childhood years are some of the most important years of brain development, which is why we believe children deserve far more than minimum state requirements.

At Gallatin Premier Childcare, our lead teachers either come to us with a degree or obtain a national early childhood certification such as a CDA or CCP, in addition to having prior classroom experience. This higher level of education and training helps teachers better understand:

  • Child development
  • Behavior and emotional regulation
  • Classroom safety and supervision
  • Intentional lesson planning
  • Communication and social development
  • Age-appropriate learning strategies

Qualified teachers are better equipped to create engaging, structured, and nurturing classrooms where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

We believe early childhood education is a profession — not simply babysitting — and the quality of a child’s teacher can directly impact their confidence, development, and long-term love of learning.

why is chaos free drop off and pick up important?

At Gallatin Premier Childcare, we intentionally structure our mornings and evenings to remain calm, organized, and well-supervised. Unlike many larger centers in our own sumner county, mass combine children during transitions, we work to keep children in familiar classroom environments with consistent teachers whenever possible.

This helps:

  • Reduce overstimulation and stress
  • Improve safety and supervision
  • Create smoother transitions for children
  • Support emotional security and consistency
  • Allow families to experience a calmer, more welcoming environment

We believe children thrive best in structured, peaceful environments — especially during important daily transitions.

why does active learning matter more than screen time?

Young children learn best through hands-on experiences, movement, exploration, and real interaction — not passive screen viewing. At Gallatin Premier Childcare, we prioritize active learning through STEAM activities, sensory play, gross motor movement, music, art, and teacher-led engagement because these experiences help build critical thinking, communication, creativity, social skills, and healthy brain development during the most important early childhood years.
